Eric Burlingame

Eric Burlingame was born on the seventh day of the seventh month of the seventh year, and is the seventh son of a Seventh Day Adventist. Everyone just knew he would be lucky. But after his dog got drunk and died, and his mama went to prison, he knew that everybody was wrong. He knew that only his own grim determination and hard work would be his salvation, and that he'd have to roll up his sleeves and buckle down to brass tacks. After quitting his job at the brass tack factory, he enrolled at Fredonia, then later UB, where he managed to swipe a BS in music. Then came the real education: deep in the seething bowels of Mohawk Place and the Tralf - to name but a few - Eric toiled away, slaving at hot mixing boards, brandishing hot soldering irons, slowly developing the fast reaction times and ruthless efficiency that makes him a JR Audio superstar. Meeting every challenge with stoic competence, he quickly achieves total control and ensures a smooth production under even the most demanding of circumstances. Having proven that he could take it, he set out to prove he could dish it out also - he can often be seen wielding a mighty axe in his band Beamer, and as stage technician for Dr. Sik, of The Rabies. But drag his battered carcass out of the trenches and get him into the studio and he becomes gentle as a kitten, caressing and cajoling the sweetest of sounds from cold lifeless recording equipment, massaging each mix until it glows from within, his face bathed in cathode rays as he ensures that your mix is exactly right. Eric likes nothing more than working with sound, and would love to help you meet your professional audio needs!
